Show one photo without showing the rest
A friend asks to see the picture from the weekend. You find it and hold the phone out, and your thumb tenses a little: one swipe and they are looking at the next one.
What you can do, with or without ZeroBox
- Send the photo instead of handing over the phone. They see exactly that picture.
- Or keep hold of the phone and let them look. It takes the same time, and nothing leaves your hand.
- Screen pinning keeps the phone on one app until you unpin it. Unpinning asks for your PIN, pattern or password, if you set one. Inside that app, the person can still open every photo.
How ZeroBox helps
- Photos you move into ZeroBox are removed from your gallery (Android asks you to confirm). The next photo in the gallery is then one you chose to leave there.
- To show something that lives in the vault, open it in the vault yourself and keep the phone in your hand.
- To send one file, export it from the vault to your gallery or Downloads, send it, and delete that copy afterwards.
What ZeroBox does not cover
- ZeroBox has no mode that shows only one picture to someone else. If you hand over an open vault, they can look around in it.
- An exported file is a normal file. Other apps can see it until you delete it, and the gallery may keep it in its trash.
- A picture that is already in a cloud backup or a chat stays there.
